Clinical trials

A clinical trial is an experimentation on human subjects intended to identify or verify the clinical outcomes of one or more experimental drugs or non-pharmacological therapies, and/or to identify any possible adverse events. In the case of experimental drugs, the trial may be focused on their pharmacodynamics, mechanism of action, absorption, distribution, metabolism, and deletion, in order to evaluate their safety and/or efficacy.
